Crafty Chic: Herringbone Bulletin Board

Let’s face it: cork boards (and bulletin boards) are boring.

Sure, you can dress them up with pictures, notes, and anything and everything else, but why not bring life to the bulletin board itself? Painting your cork/bulletin board is a great (and cheap!) way to give your board some personality and brighten up your room. I chose to upgrade my boring bulletin board with a painted herringbone pattern:

Beauty Review: Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish

Maybelline launched their Color Show Nail Polish line a few months ago and the colors look amazing. With 40 vibrant colors, you’ll easily be able to find one that you love. I recently picked up two great colors for fall: Navy Narcissist and Blue Freeze.

 

I have yet to try the Blue Freeze, but I absolutely love the color of the metallic Navy Narcissist. Because one of the hottest nail trends for fall is metallics and because rich blues were all over the Fall runways, no doubt it’s the perfect color.
